Mysz London journey in the nail industry began 10 years ago at the table, where she built her skills, clientele and confidence from the ground up. What started as a hustle quickly evolved into a passion and calling. Through discipline, vision, and an unshakable belief in what was possible she rose from nurse to CEO. Ultimately making history by opening the first black owned nail technician school in the DMV Metropolitan area. She didn’t just seek a seat in the industry, she built the table. Today, her work sits at the intersection of beauty, education and legacy, recognized through multiple industry awards in education, leadership, skillset and entrepreneurship strengthened by strategic school partnerships with DYRS, DCPS, PGCPS and WIOA that continue to expand access and elevate standards across the beauty industry.
At the core of her entrepreneurship is her role as a mother to a daughter with special needs. A responsibility that reshaped her purpose and fueled her drive to create a business rooted in flexibility, impact and ownership. She built her school to be more than an institution; it is a blueprint for what’s possible. As a true pioneer and trailblazer in the beauty space, her mission is clear: to educate, empower, and show others that success isn’t just something you chase, it’s something you build and pass on.

“I'm originally from New Jersey. I started my cosmetology career while in high school. I have been in this industry for over 35 years. I started my career out doing nails at first, then moved to hair. I have owned, managed and supervised my salons in my time. I started teaching in 2008, and have been teaching since. I'm currently working for Portsmouth Public Schools. This district was the only district that didn't have a vo tech center for students. So, I was hired to start a nail tech program within the high school. Which is still very successful. After a year or two I also started the cosmetology and master program in the same high school as well. I've taught all three classes until we hired more educators. I truly have a passion for this industry and to be able to teach upcoming superstars in this industry just fills my heart with complete joy!“
